The tenth anniversary edition of Conference Services and Venues Catalogue "CONFERENCES IN POLAND www.meetingspoland.pl" has already been released. The Catalogue has been recognized as a genuine encyclopedia of business tourism, including information on congress and conference rooms in Poland. The catalogue has been published under the patronage of Polish Tourist Organization, Polish Conference and Congress Association, Polish Tourism Development Agency, Polish Association of Personnel Management and Polish Chamber of Training Companies.
The anniversary edition of the catalogue includes a particularly interesting chapter entitled "Visions of congress centres in the 21st century Poland". It contains descriptions of over 20 congress and exhibition centres built in recent years in different parts of the world, with some still under construction, like the Melbourne Convention Centre or the futuristic Feature Tower in Abu Dhabi. This unique iconographic material is to inspire authorities and designers in Poland, so that similar centres could be built in Poland, capable of holding big events, including international ones, which have rarely been organized in our country. Experts in the field, like architects and professional congress organizers, as well as scientists initiating such big congresses have presented their views and recommendations in this edition.
