3RD GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND ANNUAL CONGRESS OF EFAPCO THE EUROPEAN FEDERATION OF ASSOCIATIONS PF PROFESSIONAL CONGRESS ORGANIZERS

Professional Conference Organizers from all over Europe and beyond are expected in Warsaw in Januray 2008. The host of the 2008 EFAPCO meeting is The Polish Conference and Congress Association. The mojor topic of the congress is to strenghten the role of Professional Conference Organizers and the European MICE market. EFAPCO congress is an annual event, rotating around Europe, concentration on the most important issues for the professional congress organisers in the European Union countries. The previous editions took place in Madrid and Athens.

3RD "ADRENALINA" EVENTS AND TRAVEL FAIR

2ND CENTRAL EUROPEAN NEW BUSINESS OPEN DAYS (CENBOD ECONOMIC FORUM)
15-16 November 2007, Warsaw

Forum is addressed to everyone interested in initiating and developing business links with foreign partners of this region. The programme includes the Business Conference and the Cooperation Exchange. The Conference consists of four paralel sessions on investments and innovations in the selected important fields, such as transport, infrastructure, high-tech equipment, business meetings, as well as the SME development. 10TH JUBILEE CENTRAL EASTERN EUROPEAN BUSINESS TOURISM FAIR (CEE BTF)
15-16 November 2007, Warsaw

CEE BTF is the largest and the oldest MICE business professionals meeting in Poland. The event gathers more then 150 exhibitors from Poland and Central, Eastern and Northern Europe. Exhibition consists of six theme groups: Conference and Congress Venues, PCOs, Spa&Wellness, Technical Eqipment, Incentive, Catering Services. Circa 5000 business-oriented visitors are expected. Organisers offer the Hosted Buyers Program (study-tour) for the international guests and the Preffered Guest Program for the most valuable representatives from companies in Poland. The 7th BTF was a real success : 4000 visitors, 100 exhibitors, attractive seminaries and other accompanying events and Wrocław as the Partner City of the BTF 2004. The agenda included: "Education, employment, career, business opportunities in the European Union" workshop, "New Europe - New Opportunities: Making the most of the opportunities created by the enlarged EU" International Conference for Meeting Planners and Organisers from new EU member-countries and Congress Ambassadors Gala organised by Convention Bureau of Poland. International Conference
Warsaw , Palace of Culture and Science, 23-24 November 2004

The "NEW EUROPE - NEW OPPORTUNITIES" conference was to overview the EU projects implementation, to assist the process of Europe integration through presenting the "best practice" and to use practical advice given by the experts form different countries that have experience in implementing international projects. 112 people participated in the conference. Among the enrolled were representatives of local governments, universities and tourist chambers. Among the guests from abroad were representatives from France, Germany, RPA, Sri Lanka and Great Britain . The conference was supported by the Ministry of Economy and Labour, Polish Tourist Organisation and the Polish Tourism Development Agency PART S.A.

7TH EUROPEAN ACADEMY OF CONFERENCE ORGANISERS AND PLANNERS
Warsaw, 20-21 April 2004

"Great success!" - that is the opinion of the participants of the 7th edition of the Academy. Jacek Piasta presented an original approach to the so-called conference site code. Beata Nawrat - representative of the INFOR Training - received a great acclamation for her workshop on sales methods. Piotr Tymochowicz's show was sensational. Our special Guests were: Rob Davidson, Andrew Goltz and John Fisher.

2003 ANNUAL MEETING of CONFERENCE CENTRES with CONFERENCE PLANNERS and ORGANISERS edition motto was: WARSAW - CITY of CONGRESSES and INTERNATIONALCO-OPERATION. Presentations were delivered thanks to our partners: City of Warsaw, Warsaw Convention Bureau, Warsaw Tourism Information and Promotion Office, Palace of Culture and Science. FAIRS and ASSOCIATED EVENTS INCLUDED: standard presentations, presentations of conference offers by voivodships, seminaries, research reports, competitions and Congress Ambassadors Gala organised by Convention Bureau of Poland and Warsaw Destination Alliance.


Sales in Tourism Congress

This was an all-Poland meeting of the Polish tourism sales representatives . Over 100 participants, who represented Marketing and Managing Departments of the hotel venues, restaurants and tourism-related companies, debated on marketing and sales possibilities and opportunities.

As always a great suusess! More participants than year ago, more Special Guests and even more attractive progam. The BTF agenda listed: trainings, seminaries, lectures and debates on incentive programs, supporting investing in tourism, "seizing" international conferences, congresses and incentive groups, a tremendous speech by John Fisher - expert form Great Britain, and meetings with Polish Commercial Attaches to Moscow and Copenhagen.


"Young Tourism Professionals Forum"

Motto of this international training conference was: "In the united Europe tourism gives job to young people. The aim of the Forum was to show young generation that they can be more active in creating tourism industry, that they are able to exert on the managing structures.


"Business tourism promoting. The role of Convention Bureau while acquiring conferences and congresses" Conference
Wrocław , 20-21 March 2001

The aim of conference was to initiate the procedure of implementing Convention Bureau in Wrocław and then all over Poland, as a form of efficient promotion and co-operation of the companies and institutions interested in conferences, congresses and fairs, as well as creating a plan on business tourism development. Participants: over 120 representatives of local governments and tourism industry.
